Miami Nights places the player in the shoes of a playboy/girl who lives in Miami and offers an alternative way of leading a life of parties and highly entertaining situations. The player starts by customizing his character and then gets to choose where to hang out, the partners that he will have. This translates into personal success and can be seen in just how thick your virtual wallet gets after several hours of gameplay.

The game proves to be highly entertaining in the end, as it looks both at the fun and the surviving aspects of living in the sunny city. Just as in real life, the player has to earn money and carefully spend it. Still, relationships obviously don't ask for the same commitment that a real one does, which makes Miami Nights a bit shallow.

There is also a roommate that will offer good advice in order to help the player better get into the mood of the game and climb as much as possible on the social ladder. The most interesting aspect about Miami Nights is the extremely real-life situations that the player must face, including both deceptions and successes.

Moreover, the fact that he has full power of decision over the type of personality that he wants to have during gameplay offers a great amount of freedom. The player can explore more than 30 places and interact with a large number of characters.
